Adaptive Sports Association
Dear Bobbie,
On behalf of the staff, volunteers and especially the students that participate in the programs of the Adaptive Sports Association, I would like to express our most sincere appreciation for your recent donation of $100,00.
Only a small portion of our necessary revenue comes from student fees, so we depend upon the support of foundations, businesses, and especially people like you to continue to offer the highest quality services available. The incredible partnership that we share with the community is one of our greatest assets. Together we are truly able to change peoples lives. The importance of impacting another persons life in a positive way can't be overstated.
We are particularly excited about our expansion into warm weather sporting activities. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we are now able to reach even more individuals with disabilities through year-round programming.
Thank you for supporting our mission and recognizing our potential.
Sincerely,
Tim Kroes
Executive Director

Humane Society
Dear Bobbie Carll Realty,
Thank you for your additional donation of $100.00 for our Mutt Strutt. It will certainly help to provide food for the many animals we have here. Enclosed is an article with a photograph of a dog wearing a doggie cape with your sponsorship attached.
Article: Dog Days
It is wonderful that people such as you think about the animals at our shelter. All these animals want and need is food, love and shelter. You'd think anybody who owned an animal would at least feed and water it properly. However we see too many underweight, starved animals. In regards to love, any pet deserves love and attention in return for the unconditional love they so freely give to their master. And finally shelter, have you ever seen a puppy chained to a tree in a bare yard, unable to free itself? Then you understand what a tremendous gift a shelter is for these animals. The staff here at the Humane Society work so hard trying to find homes for each animal. Until that special someone walks through our door and into the cattery or the kennel, each animal is given food, love and shelter.
We are so thankful for your love of critters. If you're ever in the neighborhood, be sure to stop in and say hello to all of us, especially the ones that say "Meow" and Bow Wow."
Sincerely,
Cherith Marchase
Administrative Assistant
Dear Bobbie,
Thank you so very much for your March Pet Sponsorship. Thus far we have adopted 21 animals through the Durango Herald ad. We feel your sponsorship has given the animals a positive outlook and the community is reciprocating by adopting these wonderful creatures. We hope you are seeing additional traffic in your business as well. We thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Cherith Marchase

The 2002 BHS Baseball Team and Coaching Staff
Thank You! The BHS Wolverine Baseball 2002 season was a "grand slam" success. The team finished the league season, with a record of 7-1, co-champions with Pagosa Springs. We went on to win the league tournament where we went head to head against Pagosa in the championship game and won 9-6. We moved on to regional playoffs where we made it to the quarterfinals for the first time in the history of the team. This state quarterfinal game found us pitted against the number one seed of the tournament, Denver Christian. BHS ended the 2002 season with a loss in this game.
This season would not have been possible without businesses like yours that were willing to "throw" some support our way. The success of the season and the "Hang Your Sign on the Outfield Fence" fundraiser made for a perfectly rolled double play. We have a new surface on the field, a new batting cage facility, and we were able to pay for travel expenses throughout the extended season. We would like top extend a "big league" thank you for all you did to help us make the 2002 season a championship reality.
With much gratitude,
The 2002 BHS Baseball
Team and Coaching Staff

La Plata County Humane Society
Dec 7th, 2001
Dear Bobbie and Friends,
The La Plata County Humane Society is excited to announce that your Christmas Fundraiser raised $2000.00, for the animals of our community.
This is double the amount you raised at the party last year.
The staff, volunteers, board of directors and most importantly the sick or injured animals you will save, thank you. Bobbie, thanks to your generous contributions numerous animals will be saved this year.
The Emergency Medical Assistance fund helps local Veterinarians to perform emergency medical care in order to keep an animal alive until we can find his or her family. Historically the fund has gone into action in the middle of the night, helping Animals Control, the Humane Society and Vets to sve dogs, cats, and horses who had been hit by cars or had otherwise came into harms way.
Bobbie, you and your friends are to be admired for your consideration and devotion to the animals.
Thank you again.
Respectfully,
Tonya M. Kahler
Director of Animal Services

Durango Early Learning Center
Dear Sandy,
The children, staff and Board of Directors of the Durango Early Learning Center would like to thank you for your generous donation to our annual school fund raiser "Hops & Hopes". Your donation of a bird house at $50.00 greatly contributed to our event which was held on March 6, 2004.
DELC continues to offer a positive developmental early educational experience for our children. We use the money raised from our fund raiser to purchase equipment and educational resources for our school, maintain the safety of our building, and to purchase supplies needed for the day-to-day operation of our school.
We truly appreciate your assistance in our efforts to offer a school where children and their families grow and learn together!
Most Sincerely,
Lesley Lach
DELC Director
